Social Treatment Opportunity Programs (STOP) began in 1983 in a trailer behind a work-release facility in Olympia, Washington. Principals in the company drew their business and treatment knowledge from twenty prior years of experience in the addiction and criminal justice fields.

By 1985, STOP began expanding and by the 1990's, STOP's operations spanned Grays Harbor County, Mason County, Thurston County, Pierce, and King Counties. Location finder

STOP owes it's success and survival to it's ability to satisfy the needs of the people it serves. STOP prides itself on being a private, for profit, business that is excellent enough that people and insurance companies alike, pay money to purchase our treatment services.
